H₂Malaysia (HIAM) made its official physical debut nationwide at Asia Pacific Green Hydrogen 2026 in Sarawak — the state at the centre of Malaysia’s hydrogen production story, home to the Sarawak Hydrogen Hub and H2B Project.
The alliance appeared alongside members Hydrexia and SEDC Energy together with NNC, putting the connective role of the alliance on a national stage.
The debut capped a period of formalisation that began with the HIAM Stakeholders’ Workshop 1-2026, where the committee structure was formalised and the agenda set on incentivisation and a self-sustained hydrogen economy.
