At its November meeting, the HETR Steering Committee formally requested that incentives for hydrogen be proposed — a direct response to the cost barrier named at the Inaugural Stakeholder Workshop two months earlier.
The request opened the policy channel that H₂Malaysia exists to serve: carrying the industry’s voice, backed by evidence from across the value chain, into the committees where national hydrogen policy is shaped.
Stakeholder workshops that followed brainstormed and produced the proposed incentives for hydrogen, later refined by a Special Task Force into priority incentives with costings for Government.
